Overview
A brief introduction to Rolley Lake Provincial Park
Rolley Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. It is located on Rolley Lake in the Stave Falls area of Mission, British Columbia. The area was inhabited by the Sto:lo people, homesteaded in 1888 by James and Fanny Rolley, and later used for logging operations. The park now provides campsites, use of the lake, and hiking, with an area of 115 hectares (280 acres).
Rolley Lake has a day-use area, camping site, and two popular hiking trails. Rolley Lake trail circles the lake and is an easy 3-kilometre (1.9 mi) loop. Rolley Falls hike is a 2.5-kilometre (1.6 mi) out-and-back trail that starts at the campsite and leads to nearby waterfalls.

If I could give 0 stars I would!
Stayed here with family as it's close in proximity to home and like supporting local when we can.
!!!!!HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!
A few reasons are: the lake is not user friendly, no beach area, sites are small and a few are difficult to maneuver and quite dark = bugs, colder.
Another reason is a few people in our party were told different rates for extra vehicles, varying from ranger to ranger. Why isn't the standard rate applicable here?
The main reason, however...
There is one female park ranger who delights in pushing her weight around with threats, sneaking up on people, literally laying in gulleys to spring upon campsites, rude behaviour; we saw it with several campers as well experienced it personally.
She brags about regularly getting people (families with children as well) "kicked out" and will and has called the RCMP on people.
*******STAY AWAY from this campsite if you actually want a relaxing and enjoyable experience.*******
Rolley Lake
We had a short stay at Rolley Lake this summer for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by how relaxed the area was and how many other families were there.
The campsite has a small playground for the kids and my family went every night before bed to help the kids burn off some energy.
We would absolutely recommend it to other families.
Great little campground-has cell service
I wasn't expecting to have cell service while camping here, I prefer to be disconnected.
Nice place
The Royal Lake campground is an excellent place for families with kids. The campsite is nice and clear with big trees, and the washroom with warm water can take a shower after playing the whole day.
Best campground this year!
Loved this campground. Sites were spacious and spaced out well with lots of greenery in between. 10min walk to the beach which was Sandy and quaint. The camp ground is smaller with fewer sites than neighboring parks but that's what makes this park so much nicer.
Great Park
Great park. Well maintained. Small beach but lots of trails around the lake and nearby.
One of our favourites!
Warm lake to swim. Hike to a waterfall and around the lake. Open all year around. Close to the lower mainland.
Beautiful Site with strict rules
If you have small kids that like playing in the forest, or playing out later in the evening, this may not be the site for you. The one camp host is very strict and brags that she evicts people regularly. I camped here once with just 1 friend and she was super nice and friendly to us, and another time with my younger teenagers and she was super rude and said we'd had noise complaints against our site despite the fact we had been gone all day in other areas of the park. It's too bad because the campground is beautiful and such close proximity to the lake.
