Camper reviews for Twanoh State Park

Old School State Park

This is the state park that I measure all other state parks. The campground showers have H*O*T* water with excellent water pressure. The hike/bike spots are in the back, creekside, quiet, and low-traffic. The camp hosts are friendly, the campground employees (who are spread out between Belfair State Park and Twanoh) know everything about the beach. Across the campground is the day-use park, a dock, swim dock, and a beach full of nature's bounty of oysters and clams.

During the summer there's a food stand, and busy all the days. It's possible to be at the park when there's no parking avialable and not feel overwhelmed with people.

Cell service in the area is solid, as I had several Teams calls while my teen blasted Harry Potter.

This is not a campground for large rigs. We have a 25ft class C. We watched a longer class A squeeze into a site - tearing it's muffler and awning off. It took all of me not to say "uhho. You Messed Up".
