Lots of trees - perfect spot
we really loved this campground. The facilities were very well kept. The hosts were friendly, while also responsibly disclosing the frequent bear activity. Our spot was nice and shady. I think this is a plus to all the spots here. There’s big trees and barely any bald spot. The picnic table and bear box was a bit far so being in stuff from the car to the cooking area, was a bit of a workout, but not a problem.
my only complaint is that there was a lot of folks with generators, which made it loud, but c’e la vie.
we will be back here!
thank you!
Family Tradition!
Love this campground and this beautiful little lake. Last summer was out family's 4th year here. It's very hard to get good sites near the lake. I was up at 7am every morning trying to snag one when they open 6 months in advance but still failed. CampNab to the rescue! Sites are spread out nicely, staff is friendly, lake is absolutely breathtaking. We spend our entire trip here and forget that Tahoe is even there haha.
My favorite place to camp at Lake Tahoe
Getting a camping reservation at Lake Tahoe is difficult. Campnab makes it simple and allows flexibility.
Beautiful campground
We love this campground! It's right on Fallen Leaf Lake, 1 mile from Lake Tahoe. Great mountain bike rides right from your campsite. Rock climbing nearby. Incredible hiking nearby. Every site has shade. All the activities our family likes (biking, hiking, climbing, swimming/paddle boarding) that we usually go farther into the wilderness for, but here you also have civilization 5 minutes away. Thanks to Campnap all our kids and grandkids got sites also, so its family reunion time! Thanks Capnab!
hard to get popular place
We appreciated the opportunity to get camps at this popular spot and did get most of the ones we hoped for. Still need one site for one more night. Got confused on phone as to what to push when camp came up on phone! Has to be done super fast. Thanks for emailing us after we asked a previous question.
