Gordon Bay
Exceptionally family friendly with an amazing lake so expect that level of noise.
What nature camping should be
Even though we need power for our camper van we decided to spend a night without in this Vancouver Island interior park. The tall trees and mossy ground felt like a magical world. It was the ideal location with good separation from others. Very close to the sandy beach we went swimming in the chilly waters at the beautiful lake. Not a lot of kids because it was June. The towering trees kept the site shady and peering into the woods around made the experience feel like a quiet forest scene.
