A brief introduction to Belton Lake
Historical sites include the old "Charter Oak" on the Leon River, near the City of Belton, and the Stage Coach Inn in nearby Salado. Tour Miller Springs Nature Area located below Belton Dam. The nature area includes a hiking trail along the Leon River, a restored historic bridge, and several wildlife-viewing points. Belton Lake is located adjacent to the Fort Hood Army Base, which has several points of interest for the military buff. The mural painted on the spillway wall of Belton Dam depicts the history of the Bell County area.
Belton is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. Belton is the county seat of Bell County and is the fifth largest city in the Killeen-Temple metropolitan area. In 2020, the population of Belton was 23,054, and the metro region had a population of 450,051 according to US Census estimates.

Wow!
Stayed in spot 33, satellite worked great, bathrooms nearby. This is a great rv park find, with great grocery stores nearby. Quiet, and wildlife can be seen in the afternoons(deer). We love live oak ridge park & will be back!
