Camper reviews for Morganton Point at Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest
Great mountain getaway!
We camp here at least once a year. Well kept sites, beautiful lake views, great camp host, and the bathhouse was clean. Some sites have water and electric, and some do not. The best sites are further away from the entrance and near the lake. We have stayed on sites 3, 5, and 6, and all were spacious and level. We had two vehicle and our 17' Casita with plenty of room left over. However, if you are in site 2, 3, or 4, there is large, bright light that comes on at dusk and stays on all night. Lots of hiking around, and we took a canoe paddle on the Toccoa River. The town of Blue Ridge is nice with lots of shops and restaurants, albeit busy on the weekends in season.
