Great campground.
Beautiful on a clear day with views of the ocean and the cliffs. Close to some amazing hikes such as James Irvine, Miner's Ridge, and Fern Canyon. Often socked in fog in the summer, so get ready for your stuff to wake up wet. Also somewhat exposed to the sun, though it rarely gets hot so this isn't usually a problem. Not a ton of privacy from other campers. Elk are pretty common in the area.
