This campground was on our list of places to try, and instantly we kicked ourselves for not coming here sooner. There's a store. There's a train bridge. The road noise is minimal. There's hookups. AND, The BEACH! What the heck? It's in a quiet bay, so for the first time in years I sat on the beach that didn't have surf.
The Hike/Bike spot is the best spot at the campground.
I hesitate to tell you about this campground, because it was so beautiful.
What's the downer: there's no dump station.
And - I just read that it's closed because the recent floodings just overwhelmed the camground.
