Not as close to the lake as I thought
My campsite was nice. Heavily wooded, spacious and quiet. We camped here for one nice on our trip and thought it would be fun to be "on the water". Mustang Ridge is literally on a ridge with steep rocky cliffs below. I was thankful to not have small children with me! Access to the beautiful lake is available at the boat ramp and a put-in shoreline -- both driveable from the campground.
