Awesome campground

Whiskers Point is our favourite place to camp near Prince George and we go multiple times each year. Paved roads are great for the kids to ride or scooter, a bunch of sites are right on the lake, brand new huge playground installed 2 years ago, great beach (never known there to be swimmers itch there but there is the odd leach) and the lake is beautiful. The boat launch isn’t the best and there is only 1 dock left I think but there is a nice big parking lot for boat trailers. There are mostly pit toilets around the campground but they do have a main washroom building with flush toilets and running water that was upgraded not too long ago. The campground is always well maintained and clean and is one of the nicest provincial campgrounds around.
